She has extensive experience in dealing with both day-to-day HR matters through to complex employment issues, within a broad range of organisations. Gemma’s legal experience together with her practical on the ground experience brings an extra dynamic to her delivery and methodology in advising clients and guiding them through HR mazes whilst balancing commercial needs of an employer.

Whilst being passionate about what she does, Gemma understands the importance of listening to the needs of her clients and providing simple, commercial and realistic advice! Her clients regularly commend her for her calming and pragmatic approach.

Gemma is a qualified workplace mediator and member of the Employment Law Association.

She is highly experienced in handling contentious employment investigations, where her knowledge of employment law coupled with an open-minded approach provide a fair and balanced outcome for client cases.

Sarah is known for her approachable yet professional demeanor, which allows her to handle investigations with both ease and confidence and ensure all parties feel heard and respected.

Beyond her investigative expertise, Sarah is passionate about employee engagement, organisational change, and enhancing both individual and team performance. She leverages her accreditation as an Insights Discovery trainer to drive impactful training programs and boost workplace morale.

Paul Burton

Paul has been an employment solicitor for nearly 20 years and is known for his in-depth knowledge and expertise in the areas of employment law and human resources. He was a partner at a sizeable South Coast law firm before coming to ViewHR and has often been asked to be a guest speaker at HR events, including lectures for CIPD.  He regularly provides training to clients in relation to their human resources, for example, performance management and tackling sickness absence.

Paul is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has been recognised for many years in the Legal 500, a leading independent legal directory. He specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, disability discrimination, TUPE, settlement agreements, contracts and policies.

Beth Young

Fellow CIPD qualified, Beth is a Senior HR Professional who is passionate about driving business performance through pragmatic, commercially focussed and professional HR. Extensive experience in all aspects of Strategic and Operational HR for businesses of all shapes and sizes across multiple sectors including financial and other professional services, engineering, care, manufacturing, service & sales, IT and hi-tech start-ups, agriculture and hospitality.

Since her transition from HR Director to a consulting role several years ago, Beth has worked with a number of different clients on both a retained and adhoc basis, all with their own unique requirements, but has always built strong trusted relationships and received great feedback and commendations.

Beth’s experience covers all aspects of HR but has particular experience in employee relations and disputes, long term sickness and capability, TUPE, redundancy, reorganisations, employee engagement, employee benefits, compensation and remuneration and HRIS implementations.

Jondelle is an experienced CIPD Level 3 qualified HR professional. Her great people skills and organisation enable her to support various clients and our business. She is interested in employee engagement and enjoys the benefits that technology and automation in HR can bring to organisations. She has in depth experience of workplace investigations and human resources information systems (HRIS).

Jondelle enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and developing policies, processes, and a positive culture. She is always keen to develop and is currently studying for CIPD Level 5. In addition, she is learning about Artificial intelligence (AI) in HR to understand how AI can complement the human role in HR and help drive decisions about hiring, retention, and employee development, as well as automate tasks and help create policies, contracts, job descriptions, and interview questions.

Laura Campbell

Laura is a highly skilled HR Manager with a degree in Business Management and a CIPD Level 5 qualification. She has extensive experience in a diverse range of industries, providing her with broad knowledge of employee relations and business needs.

Laura’s expertise covers multiple HR aspects, including managing day to day employee relations matters to developing and implementing strategies aligned with organisational goals. She has the ability to balance the commercial needs of her clients alongside their employee’s well-being. Laura is also dedicated to supporting line managers in enhancing their leadership skills to effectively manage their teams. Laura takes a comprehensive approach to HR, addressing both strategic and operational aspects.

She is particularly interested in employee engagement and is committed to creating a work environment where employees feel valued and motivated. Laura proactively identifies opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and retention, working closely with managers to empower them with the necessary skills and tools to achieve results within their teams.

With her diverse industry experience, Laura has a unique perspective on managing HR challenges. She is skilled at handling all employee relations matters, ranging from, conflict resolution, performance management, capability assessment, sickness absence management, and grievance investigations.

Cat joined ViewHR to support the continued growth of the business, bringing with her a wealth of business and finance support experience. She is responsible for managing our Accounts, Operations and Compliance functions and team and helping to ensure that our back office runs seamlessly for our team and clients, from onboarding through to service requirements.

Cat enjoys getting into the details, being organised and providing timely guidance to our clients, partners and team. 

Shelley Poole

Shelley Poole is an established HR Consultant who works with View HR on an associate basis.  She has broad ranging HR experience gained from positions in a range of sectors. Shelley’s skills include managing employee relations matters (such as disciplinary and grievance cases), developing successful HR strategy and leading organisational change projects, such as restructuring.  Shelley’s area of specialism is working with employee-owned organisations, and she is undertaking doctoral research in this field.

Shelley also has substantial experience as a lecturer specialising in teaching management and HR, and is Chair of the West of England branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Anna is an experienced HR professional with 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors and has held a variety of senior roles. Anna holds a Master’s degree in Personnel and development, is an ACAS accredited mediator and is a Chartered member of the CIPD. She also has a business degree and a high level of commercial acumen in supporting clients.

Anna has experience in all areas of HR but also specialises in Employee Investigations and is experienced at dealing with complex and sensitive situations. She uses her strong organisational development and employee well-being experience to help clients develop a comprehensive employee offer. Her approach is friendly and pragmatic. Anna is also a CIPD assessor.

Julie Harding

Julie supports senior leaders with the delivery of large and small outplacement programmes (career transition support) within commercial and not-for-profit organisations. She helps employees find roles quicker if they are at risk of redundancy or are reaching a settlement agreement.  This leads to better results for everyone (happier exits, quicker job search, stronger employer brand).  Her background in Executive Search and Recruitment combined with her MBA qualification means that she has a strategic view of both hiring and job searching, and is in an excellent position to advise and support end to end on employer branding and talent acquisition through to internal mobility and outplacement.

Training and support includes design & delivery of outplacement programmes, masterclasses in personal branding, CV writing, LinkedIn, interview technique, networking and job searching, 1:1 career coaching and support (entry level to CEO), consultancy in employer branding, and training for hiring mangers in talent acquisition and planning recruitment; bringing consistency in their hiring processes.
