Gemma is an experienced HR and employment solicitor and HR Consultant. She has extensive experience in dealing with both day-to-day HR matters through to complex employment issues, within a broad range of organisations. Gemma’s legal experience together with her practical on the ground experience brings an extra dynamic to her delivery and methodology in advising clients and guiding them through HR mazes whilst balancing commercial needs of an employer.

Whilst being passionate about what she does, Gemma understands the importance of listening to the needs of her clients and providing simple, commercial and realistic advice! Her clients regularly commend her for her calming and pragmatic approach.

Gemma is a qualified workplace mediator and member of the Employment Law Association.

Sarah King

Senior HR Consultant and Insights Practitioner | Director

Sarah has substantial experience as an HR professional having worked at a senior level in both the private and public sectors and across different industries. She is experienced in handling contentious employment investigations. She also has a keen interest in employee engagement, change and in raising both individual and team performance. She is an Insights Discovery accredited trainer and Motivational Maps Practitioner.

Heidi Roper

Heidi is a proven senior HR professional with first-hand experience of the challenges faced by both developing and established businesses. She has previously worked in the manufacturing, engineering and retail sectors, delivering strategic and operational HR requirements within a range of organisations. Whilst experienced in all things HR, Heidi specialises in developing HR strategies and people management structures to support business objectives and organisational growth as well as being a qualified workplace mediator.

Heidi strives to understand the internal and external factors influencing businesses. She previously sat on an EEF regional advisory board as the vice-chair of the committee.

 

Paul Burton

Paul Burton
Employment Law Solicitor

Paul has been an employment solicitor for nearly 20 years and is known for his in-depth knowledge and expertise in the areas of employment law and human resources. He was a partner at a sizeable South Coast law firm before coming to ViewHR and has often been asked to be a guest speaker at HR events, including lectures for CIPD.  He regularly provides training to clients in relation to their human resources, for example, performance management and tackling sickness absence.

Paul is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has been recognised for many years in the Legal 500, a leading independent legal directory. He specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, disability discrimination, TUPE, settlement agreements, contracts and policies.

Shelley Poole

Shelley Poole is an established HR Consultant who works with View HR on an associate basis.  She has broad ranging HR experience gained from positions in a range of sectors. Shelley’s skills include managing employee relations matters (such as disciplinary and grievance cases), developing successful HR strategy and leading organisational change projects, such as restructuring.  Shelley’s area of specialism is working with employee-owned organisations, and she is undertaking doctoral research in this field.

Shelley also has substantial experience as a lecturer specialising in teaching management and HR, and is Chair of the West of England branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Jackie Carter is an established HR Consultant who works with View HR on an associate basis.

MBA/CIPD qualified Jackie is a Senior Business & HR Professional with extensive strategic and operational management experience across a range of organisations and sectors, gained in multi-site, multi-union organisations. Ten years at Director level managing a diverse portfolio of central service disciplines.

In 2009 Jackie moved into HR consultancy providing a full range of HR services, from employee relations, organisational development, management, and leadership development, change management, and end-to-end recruitment solutions including search and selection.

Anna Rosseter

Associate HR Consultant

Anna is a highly skilled HR Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the HR industry, within a wide range of sectors. She has a wealth of experience supporting SMEs and larger organisations with their HR needs, specialising in employment law compliance, employee relations and performance management.

Anna enjoys empowering managers through the delivery of management training and she is passionate about the power and impact of the Insights Discovery tool.
