Gemma is a former HR and employment lawyer. She has extensive experience in dealing with both day-to-day HR matters through to complex employment issues, within a broad range of organisations. This brings an extra dynamic to her delivery and methodology as an HR Consultant.
Whilst being passionate about what she does, Gemma understands the importance of listening to the needs of her clients and providing simple, commercial and realistic advice! Her clients regularly commend her for her calming and pragmatic approach.

Sarah has over 25 years of experience in HR having worked in both the private and public sectors and across different industries. Sarah has a keen interest in employee engagement, change and in raising both individual and team performance.
Sarah has a great rapport with clients, priding herself on being able to quickly understand their issues and then provide effective people related solutions to these.
Heidi Roper

Heidi is a proven senior HR professional with first-hand experience of the challenges faced by both developing and established businesses. She has previously worked in the manufacturing, engineering and retail sectors, delivering strategic and operational HR requirements within a range of organisations. Whilst experienced in all things HR, Heidi specialises in developing HR strategies and people management structures to support business objectives and organisational growth.
Heidi strives to understand the internal and external factors influencing businesses. She previously sat on an EEF regional advisory board as the vice-chair of the committee.
Vanessa Head

Vanessa supports our clients and our business, bringing with her a breadth of experience in business management and marketing.
She is process driven, highly organised and professional and has an enormous ability to get things done!
Shelley Poole
Associate HR Consultant
Shelley Poole is an established HR Consultant who works with View HR on an associate basis. She has broad ranging HR experience gained from positions in a range of sectors. Shelley’s skills include managing employee relations matters (such as disciplinary and grievance cases), developing successful HR strategy and leading organisational change projects, such as restructuring. Shelley is experienced in Trade Union negotiations.
Shelley also has substantial experience as a lecturer specialising in teaching management and HR, and is a trustee of an education charity.
Candice Openshaw

Candice is an experienced HR leader who has partnered with SME’s during start up, rapid growth and also periods of change/transformation. She has successfully built HR operations and teams from scratch and shaped organisations’ HR agenda.
Candice is passionate about creating engaged and healthy workforces, having seen first-hand not only the commercial benefits but also the cultural impacts. She is both supportive and pragmatic in her approach. Whilst being an experienced strategist, Candice isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and support with HR operational matters leaving her clients to focus on leading and building their business.
